Rumors run wild of Family Guy’s Peter Griffin being added to Fortnite.
Fortnite has seen its fair share of unique crossovers throughout the years. From Marvel’s Avengers to the most recent Street Fighter collaboration, Epic Games is no stranger to adding familiar faces to the Battle Bus. Yet recent data mining had led fans to believe that Peter Griffin from Family Guy will be added to that roster as a skin you can purchase in-game.
Found within the files that came with the recent Street Fighter Collaboration was an image depicting many well-known scenes from Family Guy. The image in question was connected to a “back bling” with the codename “FrenchFries”. Originally this codename led to speculation on a possible Five Nights At Freddy’s Collaboration. This was due to the fact that past collaborations corresponded with the first two letters of the code name. This was the case with the skin modeled after the famous Fortnite streamer, Ninja. The codename was “TourBus”, connecting to Ninja’s actual name of Tyler Blevins. Unfortunately for FNAF Fans, Scott Cawthon confirmed on Reddit that there was no crossover content planned for Five Nights At Freddys.
With the recent discovery of this Family Guy related image within the game, people believe the “FrenchFries” codename to be a reference to the “ding fries are done” joke from Family Guy…
